K R A S Y L I V
Founding of the monastery in Krasyliv began with accepting under custody the Krasyliv temple, which father Viktor Tkach gave to capuchins in 1990. At first the pastoral ministry in Krasyliv was taken care of by friars that lived in Starokostiantyniv, 30 km. from the city. Later, when new friars came to Ukraine, the construction of the monastery was commenced from the scratch, since there had never been one.
The Order authorities taking into account good chances of temple construction right away decided to build Spiritual Retreat house, where meetings, recollections could be organized. All this came true. This house, one of the first in Ukraine served and is continuing to serve the cause of the Evangelism.
