Dnipropetrovsk, formerly called Katerynoslav is one of the Ukrainian cities where the monks first came only nowadays, i.e. when the spiritual revival in Ukraine became possible. This parish in the regional center Friars Capuchin received from the previous Father Superior Martin.
August 3, 1999 Friars Minor of the Province of Krakow started their ministry among the Dnipropetrovsk parish, opening besides it a new monastery. The first Capuchin to work there was friar Pavlo Tokazh – Father Superior and guardian. With time friars Olexandr Mogilnyi and Yuri Zelinski joined him.
The friars live in one-storey building, which is also occupied by the chapel where as of today meet the Dnipropetrovsk faithful.
