The territory of central Ukraine is in general new on the map of monasteries of the Capuchin Order, and particularly is the Dnipropetrovsk region. Father Martin, who for a long time was a Father Superior in Dniprodzerzhynsk wanted to hand the parish over to Friars Capuchin. In the course of conversation with the bishop, the decision was made that friars of the Order should open their new monastery in this city.
1999, September. Two friars: Blazhei Suska and Leonid Mayevski – established in Dniprodzerzhynsk their new monastery affiliated to the only in the city parish of St. Mycolai.
The monks live on the territory of the parish in one-storey building, which at the soviet time was used as a Military Registration and Enlistment Office.
